NO GUNS. ONLY NEEDLES
Piercing guns may seem quick and easy, but they come with risks: blunt force trauma, poor accuracy, and higher infection rates. That’s why we only use sterile, single-use needles.
- Needles are more precise and less traumatic
- Lower risk of swelling and complications
- Safer healing and less tissue damage
It’s the professional way — because your body deserves better.

Piercing faq
Thinking of getting pierced? Here’s everything you need to know about age limits, aftercare, and our studio standards.
How old do I need to be for a piercing?
It depends on the piercing type. Some are permitted from age 14 with guardian consent, others from 16–17. Most piercings require you to be 18+. Check our piercing policy or contact us for specifics.
Do you use piercing guns?
No. We use single-use, sterile needles for all piercings. It’s safer, more precise, and allows better healing.
What ID do I need to bring?
If you’re under 25, bring a physical photo ID. Under 16s need ID from both client and parent/guardian, plus proof of relationship (like a birth certificate).
Can I walk in for a piercing?
We currently offer piercings on Friday and Saturday. On those days - Yes, walk-ins are welcome! But we recommend booking ahead to avoid waiting.
How do I care for my new piercing?
We’ll give you printed aftercare instructions and talk you through them before you leave. You can also contact us with any questions during healing.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Just ID and comfortable clothing. Avoid arriving under the influence — we won’t be able to pierce you if you are.
Can I bring my own jewellery?
No. We only pierce using high-quality jewellery from our approved stock for hygiene and safety reasons.
Do you pierce intimate areas?
Not at this time. We focus on facial, naval and ear piercings only.
Can I be pierced in private?
Yes. We understand privacy matters. Let us know and we can arrange a discrete area behind a privacy curtain.
Are children allowed in the studio?
Children under 10 are not permitted. Ages 10+ are welcome for permitted piercings with a legal guardian present.
Does it hurt?
Piercing is quick and most clients say it feels like a brief pinch. Cartilage and certain areas may feel more intense, but it’s over fast.
How long does a piercing take to heal?
Lobes take 6–8 weeks. Cartilage and nostrils may take 2–4 months or more. Our piercer will discuss the timelines for your specific piercing type. We’ll provide an aftercare sheet to your email address which will guide you through this.
Can I swim or go on holiday after a piercing?
Avoid swimming or sun exposure for at least 4 weeks. Plan your piercing ahead of travel for best results.
Can I change my jewellery after getting pierced?
We recommend keeping your initial jewellery in place for the entire healing period, as removing or changing it too soon can lead to irritation, infection, or the piercing closing up. Once healed, we’re happy to help you change it safely or advise on suitable options.
